If you happen to occupy a place without a personal wash room because of its minimal space, then this compact bathroom design from Baleno is absolutely the solution to your room’s incapacity. It fits comfortably in limited spaces, maximizing your area of convenience . The package comes with built-in electrical services, water supply and wastewater system. It greatly reduces the domestic consumption of water. It does not only save space but conserves water as well. The Colonna compact toilet was neatly and artistically made for it is equipped with two sound-insulated stainless steel tanks that float on the washstand, the columns are covered by a black glass, giving it a glossy appearance. And what’s really best about the design is that the tiles can be changed. Mirrors, wallpaper and photos can be replaced with whatever suits your mood.
Perhaps, living in a small unit or room is not much of a concern if you have the Colonna compact bathroom installed just right in your home.

One of the most visited areas in the house is the bathroom, so if you’re into building an impressive bathroom at home then you need to make it simply beautiful and refreshingly clean. A typical restroom of blue glass tiles that wraps the room and ripples like water makes it as refreshing as a dip in the pool. The turquoise blue is like the ocean just outside. And it’s streaked with a little bit of white, which gives it a ripple. Everything in the room is sort of floating. The vanities and the tub are off the floor. The blue tiles set high to catch the thrill of color that seemed fresher above. Wooden blocks were brought in to hold the tub as a natural element that makes it neat. The cerused oak drawer that holds all the stuff is very chic, more elegant and luxurious. The walk-in shower, with the same white tile that’s on all the walls brings the comfort and beauty of a bathroom Spa.

Space saving cannot be cooler than this. Everything is just packed away after you’re done as easy as one swivel!
The inner core rotates 180 degrees and is equipped with all the conveniences of a conventional kitchen, including a stainless steel sink with chrome single lever mixer, a waste bin and drawers. The upper circular shelf rotates 360 degrees for the crockery, glasses, etc. It has its own lighting inside, electrical sockets, electronics, water and waste disposal.
By utilising the volume of the circular kitchen fully, it has been possible to offer a storage capacity equivalent to that of a large conventional kitchen. “It contains the equivalent of 12 cupboards from a conventional kitchen”, says designer Alfred Averbeck.
You can also specify the Circular Kitchen with all the appliances necessary – refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, fully integrated coffee machine, ceramic cook top with 2 or 4 cook zones, a built-in microwave/oven-combination and a Range hood.
With all this said, I can’t think of any reason why this wouldn’t be ideal for a small space. Can you? If you live alone in a small space, maybe you should consider getting one!

How many of us are lucky enough to have a walk-in closet? Nowadays, it’s part of a woman’s necessity. Having enough space for all our clothes, casual and formal, enough space for our shoes and bags. It’s not just about the space for our girly thing but also, it has to be well lighted, comfortable and has a tall mirror. Admit it, how long does it take you to decide on what to wear every time you go out? It takes me 2 hours to get done. It’s quite normal for women so it is essential that we have everything we need in our walk-in closet. One thing I love about it is that I get to sit down, just look around and I could already see everything. Well, I still have to get up and try on a few before I decide on what to wear but at least when I have a hard time deciding, I can comfortably sit down and contemplate. Oh, and a mannequin to put my clothes on maybe a night or days before a special occasion is also very helpful.
So, have yours yet? If you don’t, you better get one!

My family and I loves watching movies. When we watch, we don’t get just any regular seats. We watch on lazy boys. It has always been our dream to have our own theatre room in our house. The privacy plus we get simply the best seats for the whole family. I was looking around the web for home theatre systems and I found someone who actually designs a home theatre room! Amazing, isn’t it? Their name is Smooth Audio. They’ve got every detail of the room to make it a real theatre experience. Some of their service include audio & video, lighting control, and even climate control! And, as you can see above, they do it in style! It looks really elegant. Wood that look like dark mahogany, the embroidered wall, which, I suppose lessens the echoes, the speakers installed so tastefully on the pillars, even the projector on the ceiling has its own wooden house! The red carpet made it look so regal. And of course, the lazy boys! I could just dream of having a room like this in our house. How about you? If your family is into watching movies, would you spare a room to be transformed to a theatre? Would you have wanted it to look like this? I know me, I really would!

There’s nothing like the serene feeling of being in a spa. The scents, the warm feeling of stones on your back seeping into your skin, relaxing those sore and overworked muscles, detoxing every bit of your body and mind. Nothing beats the ambiance of a spa. It’s relaxing as relaxing can get. Every piece contributes to that perfect feeling you have inside of you.
Paradise Spa is located within the prestigious Grand Hotel Bernardin on Slovenia’s Mediterranean Riviera. A warm welcome at reception, the scent of essential oils, comfort all around you, and a soothing and relaxing massage… The gentle smile of masters of traditional massage and the magical touch of their hands will transport you to an ambience full of artistry and to the heavenly sensation of well-being, comfort and relaxation.
I hope I was near Slovenia now. I want to dip into that water, smell that flower, lean back, look thru the window and watch the sun set and simply relax.

Seagaia Ocean Dome is the world’s largest indoor pool. It’s located in Japan. It measures 300 metres in length and 100 metres in width. It was closed in 2007 and was officially reopened on November 2009 after all the renovations has been completed. The Ocean Dome sports a fake flame-spitting volcano, artificial sand and the world’s largest retractable roof, which provides a permanently blue sky even on a rainy day. The air temperature was always held at around 30 degrees celsius and the water at around 28.
Imagine how fun it would be on a beach with the perfect weather 365 days of the year. Nothing can ruin the fun in this place. It’s amazing how everything in it was designed it such a way that you’d really feel like you’re in the beach. I would most certainly want that all 365 days of the year!

Can you imagine how small, oh, “tiny” this house is. This house has its own, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The interior is just amazing. Every inch of this house is functional. It had to be. It being only approximately 10 feet cubed, I bet it was a challenge fitting everything in. And, it looked really great, actually. Very clean lines. Light colors were perfect making the space look bigger. Every inch of every furniture fit exactly with each other. Its simplicity made it look elegant. In my opinion, the interior designer of this tiny house has won a challenge. What could be harder than making everything fit in a 10 feet cube? Plus, making use of every single inch to make it actually liveable.
All in all, this small space, its clean design, provides a very peaceful and private space for one.
French Cube is coming to America this year. Watch out for it!

It has always been my habit to observe and critique a hotel lobby on every stay. I try not to stay in the same hotel more than once because I like amusing myself with the different interiors of each. I looked around a bit on the internet deciding on which hotel to stay in on my next vacation. I was amused to come across this picture of Greek Town Casino. I don’t gamble but I would consider visiting them just to enjoy the surroundings. It is definitely out of the ordinary. Very contemporary. Very clean and sharp lines. The soft cloth like background on the walls perfectly contrasted with the strong presentation of the design. The fire is a great accent of something of nature that contrasts the contemporary design of the lobby. The staircase across the top of the reception is unlike any other that I’ve seen in any other hotel. Its glass railings is well synchronized with the glass ceiling.
Just looking at a picture of their lobby makes me wonder what more they’ve got to offer in their rooms and in their casino. Not gambling for me but just looking forward to marvelling in their magnificent interiors.

The stairs is a permanent fixture of the house. It is not something that you can change whenever you feel like redecorating your home. Very careful consideration has to be given whether it will permanently be a part of the design or plain functional.
An example is the picture above of a spiral staircase. This catches so much attention that it obviously is a part of the design and not just there to be functional. Very careful thought must be put into this. Firstly, it’s spiral, the positioning of the staircase and the access it has to the next floor is not something that you can change easily without renovating. Before making big decisions as such, make sure that you will learn to live with it for a pretty long time. On the other hand, it is an artwork that won’t fail to put life into your space.
Choosing the stairs is not as easy as you think it is. Specially if you’re the one living in that space.
