Stencils give life to a plain surface and thus will stimulate a child imagination if made appropriate. To start with, select a comfortable pattern that you can use over and over without making an eyesore. Stencils will be using a pattern every few inches. This would make your decorating ideas exciting with personal touches.
If the nursery room has two-tone theme like cream and light pink, place the creative stencil over the paint line that meets the two colors. It will give the colors a coordinated effect and complements the whole room. In this way, you can make the stencil take on the top color when working on the bottom part and vice versa.
