There’s nothing like the serene feeling of being in a spa. The scents, the warm feeling of stones on your back seeping into your skin, relaxing those sore and overworked muscles, detoxing every bit of your body and mind. Nothing beats the ambiance of a spa. It’s relaxing as relaxing can get. Every piece contributes to that perfect feeling you have inside of you.
Paradise Spa is located within the prestigious Grand Hotel Bernardin on Slovenia’s Mediterranean Riviera. A warm welcome at reception, the scent of essential oils, comfort all around you, and a soothing and relaxing massage… The gentle smile of masters of traditional massage and the magical touch of their hands will transport you to an ambience full of artistry and to the heavenly sensation of well-being, comfort and relaxation.
I hope I was near Slovenia now. I want to dip into that water, smell that flower, lean back, look thru the window and watch the sun set and simply relax.

Seagaia Ocean Dome is the world’s largest indoor pool. It’s located in Japan. It measures 300 metres in length and 100 metres in width. It was closed in 2007 and was officially reopened on November 2009 after all the renovations has been completed. The Ocean Dome sports a fake flame-spitting volcano, artificial sand and the world’s largest retractable roof, which provides a permanently blue sky even on a rainy day. The air temperature was always held at around 30 degrees celsius and the water at around 28.
Imagine how fun it would be on a beach with the perfect weather 365 days of the year. Nothing can ruin the fun in this place. It’s amazing how everything in it was designed it such a way that you’d really feel like you’re in the beach. I would most certainly want that all 365 days of the year!

Best of Year Winner, Furniture: Outdoor: Royal Botania — WAVE
The WAVE hammock was designed by Erik Nyberg and Gustav Ström for Royal Botania. It consists of rust-resistant electro-polished stainless steel and perforated fabric (one type for the upper roof and another type for the seating section). It impressively stands on a single point, which gives its unique floating impression.
This hammock speaks for itself. Beauty combined with functionality. The color gives the impression of a wave. It also unites itself to the relaxing color of water. It serves as a shade and the cushioned hammock hanging under it makes an interesting and relaxing space to rest. You’d feel like a baby being cradled to sleep. The design was magnificently executed that a single pole was bent to a perfect position that it is sturdy enough to hold the hammock. Simple, and yet, very interesting. It’s not something you’d see every day. Very modern and contemporary.

BeHive lounging furniture in galvanized steel, polyethylene, and Airtex in white by Extremis. Extremis , through Nova Studio. New and out.
I really like the idea of having this unique piece in my backyard. The design is very interesting. Would be a topic of conversation even after parties. The way the light bounces on the white ceiling and the table highlights its beauty. Having the surroundings all white kept the light bright and it seems to be so calm. So contemporary. I could just imagine myself in there having nice conversations with friends while drinking cocktails.
It looks like the sides can be moved together or apart. That would be a great plus especially on sunny times of the year. It can be as exposed or as private as you want it to be. It’s like having a living room at your backyard. I’d really like to lounge away on that furniture.
